CBD Lab Results
CBD lab testing is very important to us at Immortal Tortoise because we use only pure natural hemp extract. Lab testing is required to verify that our products contain less than the legal maximum of .3% THC. That’s why most companies offer chemically extracted CBD isolate – because it’s easier to meet the federal regulations. We believe it’s worth the hassle to produce a more effective product. That’s why have several tiers of lab testing.
On-site we run high pressure liquid chromatography tests on our dried hemp buds to make sure there are no heavy metals, bacteria, molds, or pesticide residues and to determine the cannabinoid profile. We run an additional lab test after our first extraction to verify CBD potency.
Finally, prior to bottling, we send samples of our CBD oil to ProVerde Labs. We publish those 3rdparty results right here on our website. We choose ProVerde because you can verify their lab results by scanning the QR code at the top of the lab certificate. This provides unparalleled transparency for our valued customers.
There’s more to cannabis extract than just CBD and THC. Properly lab tested CBD oil should tell you the concentrations of supportive cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC, CBN as well as a full terpene profile.
